Yes, you must put a deposit down before you can activate any bid. The deposit is either $400 or 10% of your bid amount (whichever is greater). Considering we don’t actually charge your credit card for the deposit amount, we just put a hold on it, the funds never leave your credit card. First of all, please make sure you have deposit submitted on your RideSafely.com account. It must be either $400 or 10% of your potential bid (whichever is greater). Select the item you wish to bid live on. The site will tell you when the auction will start and how many numbers until yours it up. You can only bid on the item you have opened on your screen. You don’t have to connect your accounts together. Whenever you need to make a deposit via PayPal, you can simply select a PayPal logo or send a PayPal payment directly to our email address which is email@example.com.
