When I pick up the vehicle myself, do I get a temporary license plate?

You are welcome to personally pick up the vehicle you purchased. However, no temporary license plate will be provided.

Important Information About Vehicle Pickup

• Once we receive your title, we will process and reassign it to you, then mail it directly to the registered address in your RideSafely account.
• Most vehicles sold through insurance auctions on RideSafely are classified as salvage.
• It is illegal to drive a salvage vehicle on public roads until it has been fully repaired, reconstructed, and passed a safety inspection.
• After passing inspection, you can register the vehicle at your local tag agency.

Transportation Recommendation

If you plan to pick up the vehicle yourself, we strongly recommend renting a tow truck or trailer for safe and legal transportation.
