Do you need a bid card to buy cars at an auction in Wisconsin?

No Buyer Identification Card (BID Card) is required to purchase cars at auctions through RideSafely. However, certain states do require BID cards for access to salvage pools. With RideSafely, you do not need a state-issued BID card if you are purchasing from the following states:

  • Alabama
  • Michigan
  • Nevada
  • Utah
  • Wisconsin

This simplifies the process for our customers, allowing you to buy cars without the need for additional state licensing.
