Can I drive a vehicle home if it is listed as repossessed?

We strongly advise against driving any vehicle directly from the auction, especially those listed with titles such as “AL CLEAR REPOSSESSED” or “MO CERTIFICATE OF TITLE-REPOSSESSED.” These vehicles have not been inspected for safety, and driving an unregistered vehicle is illegal. Additionally, the operational condition of these vehicles is uncertain as they may have been sitting for an extended period. For your safety and to comply with legal standards, we recommend arranging transportation for all purchases. For more information, please refer to our FAQ on whether a vehicle listed as “clear title, runs and drives” can be driven.

If you have any questions about repossessed vehicles at auction, our RideSafely support team is ready to assist you. Please feel free to call us at (215) 289-0300 for immediate support.
