How can I bid on a vehicle listed as “Vehicle Might Have Hidden Damages”?
Some vehicles include a warning such as: “This vehicle may have additional hidden damages.” This means the vehicle may have previously sustained damage that was not fully disclosed or is not visible in the auction photos—possibly due to cosmetic repairs that do not address underlying mechanical issues, as identified by our system.
Steps to Authorize Your Bid on Vehicles with Hidden Damages
To place a bid on such a vehicle through RideSafely, please follow these steps:
- Click the button labeled “I Want to Bid on This Item Anyway.”
- Carefully review the Hidden Damages Authorization Form.
- Confirm each required checkbox to acknowledge the following:
- I understand the vehicle may have hidden damages not visible in photos.
- I agree not to file any claims related to these damages or the vehicle’s history.
- I accept full responsibility for the purchase and will not attempt to cancel or back out.
Once the form is completed and acknowledged, the system will allow you to proceed with your bid.
