How can I obtain a key for the vehicle?

If your purchased vehicle does not have keys, you can obtain a replacement using one of the following methods:

1. Order a Key from the VIN

  • Contact a local authorized dealer for your vehicle’s make.
  • Ask if they can create a key using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

2. Use the Ignition Code

  • If the dealer cannot make a key from the VIN, check if they can create one using the ignition code.
  • This code is engraved on the ignition and may require removing the ignition to access it.

3. Visit a Locksmith

  • Remove the ignition cylinder and take it to a professional locksmith.
  • A locksmith can create a key specific to the ignition, typically costing under $100.
