I sent the full payment for the vehicle I purchased, but my invoice still shows an outstanding balance. Why is that?
If your invoice from RideSafely shows an outstanding balance even after you’ve made a full payment, it could be due to one of three scenarios:
- Late Payment Fees: If the payment was not made on time, late fees of $100 per day per item may have been added to the purchase price.
- Storage Fees: Delay in vehicle pickup can result in storage fees of $25 per day per item being added to your total cost.
- Application of Payments to Outstanding Invoices: Payments received may be applied to any outstanding invoices or deposits under your account, as per the priority rules set by our affiliate dealers. Typically, any outstanding deposits are settled first.
