What does MD SALVAGE – GREATER THAN 75% REPAIRABLE mean can I go ahead and bid for this cat?

When the damage is greater than 75% of the vehicle’s fair market value and repairable or has sustained flood damage, the new Maryland title will be branded “rebuilt salvage” or “flood damage” respectively. The vehicle must pass a Maryland State Safety Inspection within 90 days of receiving notice from the MVA or the registration will be suspended.

How to buy vehicle after bid how to take part in live auction?

To bid live first you have to submit a deposit of either $600 or 10% depending which one is greater. Once you submit the deposit you will see your limit increase which means you can bid live up to that amount, once the item ends on our site that is when the live auction begins. It will give you the run number and how many items are left before that item comes up. Once the item comes up you will see a grey bid button turn into green and that is when you will be bidding live.

Can mechanical damage be related to engine issue?

Please keep in mind we do not know what type of mechanical issues they are referring to. Unfortunately we are not physically at the location to inspect or mechanically check the items. The auction does not either. You can try to do a CARFAX or AutoCheck to see if you are able to pull up some type of history on the item.

Can I see and test drive the motorhome before the auction. Can an employee start/test drive it for me?

Unfortunately we are not physically at the location to inspect or mechanically check the item. The auction does not inspect or mechanically check the item either. Unfortunately the items are sold as is and to get into the auction you would have to be a member. Please provide the inventory number for the item and we can provide you with the number to the auction. You can give them a call.

If participating in auctions does it cost anything?

It does not cost to bid on our site however to participate in the actual auction you would have to have a deposit of $600 or 10% whichever one is greater. There are also fees involved if you purchase the item. RideSafely fee is $299 for any item over $1,000, Documentation fee of $85 and an auction fee. The auction fee varies depending on the bid, and type of auction. We do have a calculator fee button that pops up when you click on the bid button.
