Can I register the vehicle under a different name if I am shipping it overseas?
When you purchase a vehicle through RideSafely, all related documentation, including the title and shipping documents, will be issued in the purchaser’s name. Consequently, the vehicle must be registered and shipped overseas under the same name. If you need to transfer ownership to a different individual before shipping it overseas, a title transfer process is required unless you are a licensed dealer. This process involves completing the necessary paperwork to transfer the title to the new owner legally.
