I am looking for a fuel petrol engine type; what does “gasoline engine” mean?

Gasoline and petrol refer to the same type of fuel, commonly used in internal combustion engines. The term “petrol” is widely used outside the USA, such as in the UK, India, and the Republic of Ireland, while “gasoline” is more commonly referred to as “gas” in the US and Canada. At RideSafely, if a vehicle description includes “Fuel/GAS,” it indicates a petrol engine type.
