Why did I receive a different title type from another state?

According to the Purchase Order Agreement, RideSafely does not guarantee a specific title type. While the title you receive will be equivalent to what’s listed in the item’s online description, there may be minor variations in its classification or issuing state due to legal requirements.

Why Does This Happen?

  • State-Specific Regulations – Some states require title transfers before ownership is reassigned.
  • Equivalent Title Designations – A Nevada Salvage Title may be issued instead of an Arizona Salvage Certificate due to local DMV policies.
  • Affiliate Dealer and Insurance Processing – The title may have been transferred through another state before reaching the buyer.

Does This Affect the Title’s Validity?

No, these state-to-state variations do not change the title’s status or legal standing. The title you receive will be functionally equivalent to the one described in the listing.
