Why does my invoice show a lower amount received if I wired the full payment?

If you’re sending a wire transfer from outside the U.S., the final amount received may appear lower due to intermediary bank fees.

When making an international wire transfer, two types of fees may apply:

  • Fees from your originating bank (the bank you initiate the wire from)
  • Fees charged by intermediary or correspondent banks that process the transfer along the way

These intermediary bank fees are deducted during the transfer process and are not controlled by RideSafely. As a result, we may receive less than the amount you originally sent.

Tip: When wiring funds internationally, ask your bank about any additional fees—including those from intermediary banks—that may reduce the total amount received.
