Why do I have to submit a credit card to increase my bid on a car I’ve already bid on?

At RideSafely, each vehicle bid requires a security deposit to ensure commitment. The deposit must be either $600 or 10% of your bid, whichever is greater. For instance, if you initially bid $6,000, your required deposit is $600. Should you decide to increase your bid to $7,000, an additional $100 is needed to cover the 10% deposit requirement for the new bid amount. This policy helps maintain the integrity and seriousness of bids.

If you have any questions regarding deposit requirements for bidding, please feel free to contact our RideSafely support team at (215) 289-0300. We’re here to help ensure your bidding process is smooth and secure.
