“Damage type: Water/Flood” — does it mean that I cannot fix it?

Water/flood-damaged vehicles can be repaired; however, it’s important to be aware of the extent of the water damage and the water level in the vehicle. Critical components such as the engine and electrical systems may be severely damaged. Most vehicles with flood damage are not sold as “Run and Drive” to prevent the engine from starting if there is water inside it. This precaution helps avoid further damage to the vehicle’s internal systems. Always assess the full extent of damage before deciding to repair a flood-damaged vehicle.
