Deposit – How does it work if I’m not the auction winner?

If you’re not the winning bidder, your offer is not accepted, and you have no other active bids, your deposit is 100% refundable. You have the following options:

  • Apply it to another bid: Use the deposit to place an offer on a different vehicle listed on RideSafely.
  • Request a refund: Log in to your RideSafely account and request a refund. We’ll process it within 24 hours.
  • Do nothing: If no action is taken, your deposit will automatically be released back to your credit card within 3–5 business days.

Note: The deposit is a temporary hold on your credit or debit card, not an actual charge.
