What happens if I lose a title and/or need to order a duplicate?

To request a duplicate title, you must provide a single photo that clearly displays the following three items to verify that you are still in possession of the vehicle:

  • Your driver’s license or passport,
  • The vehicle identification number (VIN) visible on the door jamb or windshield,
  • A recent publication showing the current date (e.g., a newspaper, magazine, or store flyer).
