Diff between Bid and Buy now. If there’s a buy it now price does a high bid win even if it doesn’t meet the buy it now price. In other words, is there a reserve price.

If the item is up for buy now more than likely they are looking for that amount or somewhere near that amount. If we close with the highest bid the auction will let us know if they accept or deny the bid. In some cases they may accept, deny or come back with a counter offer.
