Is the preliminary bid or closed bid the final price, or is there more bidding involved?

Once preliminary bidding closes on RideSafely, the live auction at the insurance company auction begins. We represent the highest preliminary bidder at this auction, bidding up to their maximum specified amount. If the final auction price is less than the maximum bid, you pay the lower amount. For more information on how preliminary bids are set and used, please refer to our section: What Does “Current Bid: Auction Preliminary Bid Price” Mean?

If you have any questions regarding the bid process or auction dynamics, please feel free to contact our RideSafely support team at (215) 289-0300. We’re here to help you navigate the auction successfully!
