Why can’t I bid on some cars even though I have a deposit?

To participate in bidding, you must maintain a minimum deposit of $600 or 10% of each bid amount, whichever is greater, for each vehicle on which you wish to bid. If you are a “new” customer—one who has not yet completed a purchase—you are limited to bidding on only one vehicle at a time. This policy ensures a fair auction environment for all participants. Once you complete your first purchase through RideSafely, this restriction will be lifted from your account. For more information on how to bid on multiple items, please see How does bidding on multiple items work?.

If you have any questions about bidding restrictions, please don’t hesitate to call RideSafely support at (215) 289-0300. We are here to assist you!
