How can I inspect the vehicle before I bid on it?
Vehicle inspections are limited to registered dealers affiliated with the auction location.
If you’re not a registered dealer with the specific auction facility, in-person inspections are not permitted. This restriction applies to the general public and non-affiliated buyers.
Since RideSafely does not currently offer physical inspection services, most buyers must rely on the photos and item descriptions provided in the auction listing to assess the vehicle’s condition. This means that some degree of damage estimation and risk is involved when placing a bid. Always check Carfax or AutoCheck before placing your bid.
Dealer-Only Access
Only licensed dealers registered with the auction where the vehicle is located may access the lot for inspection purposes. If you are working with a dealer or have your own license, you may be eligible to schedule a visit.
Optional Auction-Provided Inspections
Some auctions offer paid inspection services prior to bidding. These are handled directly by the auction and may include basic assessments or third-party condition reports, depending on the auction location.
If you’re interested in exploring inspection options or verifying eligibility for a specific vehicle, please contact RideSafely support or call us at (215) 289-0300 for assistance.
Thank you,
