Does the highest bidder always win?

On RideSafely, even if you have the highest bid during the preliminary phase, we still participate in a live auction on your behalf. Winning depends on the final auction outcome and any reserve price set by the seller.

How It Works

  • If your bid remains the highest in the live auction and there is no reserve price, you will win the item.
  • However, auction houses reserve the right to reject any bid at their discretion.
  • Bid approval may take 24 to 48 business hours, during which your bid remains pending.

We will notify you promptly if you are the winning bidder.
