Why was my highest bid not approved?

There are several reasons why your highest bid might not be approved at auction—even if it was the top offer at the time of bidding.

Common Reasons for Bid Rejection

  • Reserve Not Met: If the auction sets a reserve price and your highest bid does not meet it, the seller may choose not to approve the sale.
  • No Counteroffer Issued: If your bid is below the reserve and the seller does not submit a counteroffer, your bid will be declined.
  • Vehicle Relisting or Removal: In these cases, the vehicle may be:
    • Relisted in the next auction cycle
    • Or removed entirely from the sale

What You Can Do

  • Keep an eye on the listing—some vehicles reappear in upcoming auctions.
  • Stay tuned for relisting updates, or browse similar vehicles in our inventory.
