What does “Price at Auction” mean?
The price at auction refers to the vehicle’s current bid amount during the auction process. Before the live auction begins, RideSafely may display this amount as the Current Bid or Auction Preliminary Bid.
Auction Pre-Bid
The Auction Pre-Bid is the current bid on a vehicle before the live auction begins. When pre-bidding closes, the current Pre-Bid typically becomes the starting bid for the live auction.
Once live bidding begins, the price may increase as additional bids are placed. For this reason, the Current Bid or Auction Preliminary Bid should not be considered the vehicle’s final sale price.
What Happens During the Live Auction?
The live auction typically begins from the current Pre-Bid amount. Bidders may continue placing bids until the auction ends.
The final auction price is determined by the bidding activity during the live auction.
Important Note:
The Auction Pre-Bid is the current bid before the live auction begins. It is not a guaranteed purchase price or final sale price. Additional auction and RideSafely fees may apply to a successful purchase. Use the Fee Calculator to estimate applicable fees before placing your bid.
